Hello,

I am a beginner of Telemac2D.
Now I am trying to simulate wave-induced erosion and deposition using a virtual rectangular water tank in Telemac2D.
Maybe I succeeded the re-creation of wave with sl.f in source files and sediment transport with Sisyphe coupling.

But there is a problem in the result file.
Though I set 'ZERO ELEVATION' to INITIAL CONDITIONS in the steering file, the free surface in result file is not physical in Blue Kenue.

How can I correct the error?
Could you give some information about this error!

I attach some files of my case.

Thank you.

Best Regards,

Ryuta

Hello,

Now I cleared up my confusion.
the problem comes from the difference of scale adjustment.

When I see free surface and bottom in the same view, Blue Kenue automatically change the scale of each figures respectively for easily viewability.
So data which has originally small fluctuation is displayed as relatively more bigger one.
In contrast, data which has big fluctuation is displayed as more small one.

At first, I think the problem comes from my geometry data or configuration.

I'm sorry for any misunderstanding or confusion my posting has caused.

Best regards,

Ryuta

Hello,

I did not look yet at your file, but think that the free surface is the real free surface or the bottom topography if there is no water. So if you have a bottom at an elevation greater than 0, it will show in the free surface.
