I'm running a simple model. 20m wide, Q=133, slope =0.002, n=0.021
The normal flow should be 2.18m so I set that for 'pres. elev' for the downstream end. For initial conditions I have 'CONSTANT ELEVATION' but the model won't run for anything but 'INITIAL ELEVATION' : 5. Any reason why this would be the case?

Dear Jeremy

If I've well understood, Telemac doesn't take into account the Boundary conditions you want to impose.
First, are you sure to have a correct boundary conditions file i.e. do you have a "4 5 5" condition for the entry, a 5 4 4 for the outlet and a "2 2 2" condition for the lateral walls.
If it is the case, send me your case and I will try to check it up.
