open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi:

I tried to run the compiled file "telemac2dV6P1.exe" directly using DOS-command and got folowwing error mesages:

"READ_CONFIG : FILE CONFIG NOT FOUND: CONFIG"
"DEFAULTS VALUES OF LU AND LNG: 0 AND 0"
"file not found, unit 2, file C:\OpenTelemac\V6P1...\win64\T2DDICO"

I have looked for the files "CONFIG" and "T2DDICO" and could not find them, neither in the program directory nor in the exsample-directory. How can I get these two files and what is the correct way to run Telemac2D with DOS-command?

Hello,

This executable file will work only when it is placed into the temporary directory built by Perl or Python, which contains a copy of the data files, for example the geometry file of Telemac-2D will be called there T2DGEO. You must in fact use a perl or python command :

telemac2d name_of_parameter_file

so that the perl or python scripts build the temporary directory where telemac2d.ex will be run.
