I have noticed that when using parallel processors, PARTEL sometimes breaks a mesh into sub-domains that themselves have non-contiguous parts. Does this matter in terms of performance? Can the decomposition be affected by re-ordering the node numbers?

Hello,

Yes, I have noticed also this fact that is due to the domain partitioner Metis. It is not a problem since Telemac is able to deal with domains that are not contiguous.

As for node numbering, I do not know.
