Hi,

i've succed to compile a telemac2d case from a PC (W7) and run the calcul from an other PC without telemac system, just by copying the temp folder which is created when you compile and start to run your case file (from the first PC).

You can still modify your project on the second PC and run your cases with the .exe file without recompiling the case.

But what if you want to change for example the solver method ? Do you need to recompile your case or can you just run the .exe file ?

Thanks.

Ps : My goal here is to run my cases on a computer without a fortran compiler.

Hi
You could modify the case file without changing the compiled program.
Oen of the best illustration of this point is telemac autmatically compile the fortran file (if exists) on ly if the fortran file is newer than the local exe file. if no, it use directly the exe file (without requiring a fortran compiler)

Hope this helps
Christophe

Hello,

The parameter file is also copied in the temporary folder, so you may change all the keywords you want, the parameter file is called T2DCAS in the temporary folder (or T3DCAS, or SISCAS, etc.).

With best regards,
