Attempting to compile telemac using Python 12 years 1 month ago #6093

I am wondering whether someone can help me. I am trying to run some of the validation cases. After attempting to compile telemac using Python, I didn't get the `My work is done' message at the end, so am a little bit concerned it hasn't compiled properly. I have attached the systel.cfg file that I used to configure my setup.

Below is the message I get when I try to run the dambreak test case. Any ideas?

Hello,

you seem to be running a test case called "cas" from within C:\Projects\TelemacTrainingMaterial\telemac2d\tel2d_v6p0\test.gb\dambreak

First, it is possible that v6p2 might not work on an old test case (there might be updated keywords or updated fortran files).

Second, looking back at the validation in v6p0, your CAS file should be call something like "t2d_dambreak_v1p0.cas" rather.

Finally, if you did not get "My job is done" it is most probable that you won't be able to use TELEMAC. Pleaseinvestigate that one first.

Hope this helps,
Sébastien.

It's been a whil ebut I managed to get back to this. I recompiled Telemac but when I submitted the script I just set the modules option to `update telemac2d'. I have provided my systel.cfg file below.

I received the `My Work is Done' message this time. Does that mean it has been successful(?) or is a complete system build a prerequisite before you can update modules separately.

Thanks in advance.
