Hello,
The use of the liquid boundaries file is triggered by the keywords :
PRESCRIBED DISCHARGES, PRESCRIBED ELEVATIONS, etc.
If they are not present the program will take the values in the BOUNDARY CONDITIONS FILE (and then they are constant).
For the keywords like PRESCRIBED DISCHARGES you must give as many numbers as you have liquid boundaries (e.g. the second number will be boundary 2). Then the values given in the LIQUID BOUNDARIES FILE, if any, will overwrite the prescribed values. For example :
PRESCRIBED DISCHARGES : 0.;80.
will put a discharge of 80 m3/s at boundary 2, but will be replaced by the values in the liquid boundaries file if there is a column Q(2). In this latter case the program will print on the listing what value of Q(2) is taken for a given time step.
With best regards,
