TOPIC: Problem with previous computation file

Problem with previous computation file 11 years 10 months ago #6948

Hi

I am running the simulations in a cluster using Telemac version 6.1.
I tried to attach the .slf files, but even after compressing them, they are still to big. So I don't know how to share them.

Thanks

Viviana

Hi,

Could you give me more information about how you got lasttime_step.slf

- Did you used the result file from the previous computation or was it modified?
- Could you try to run the code using lasttime_step as geometry file and give me the output
- Can you give me the compiler you are using and its version just run the compiler with the option --version

Thanks,
Yoann

Hi

The first thing I did was to use the result file from a previous computation. And it didn't work. So, I though the file was to big and that could have caused the problem. Therefore, I used the matlab tools from Telemac to extract the last time step of the result file and I got lasttime_step.slf, I used this file as the previous computation file and I didn't work either, and I got the same error. Then, by suggestion from the forum I ran a simulation using lasttime_step as geometry file and in this run I desactivated the computation continued option and I didn't get that error anymore. So, I though that the file should be ok, because it could be read as a geometry file.
The compiler I that is installed in the cluster is gcc version 4.1.2.
I am attaching the output of the simulation where I used lasttime_step.slf as geometry file.

Thanks

Viviana
