Hello,

Until now I have been using a precompiled version of telemac2d v6p1.

I have to modify some subroutines in order to go further with my research so I have compiled v6p2 of Telemac in my computer (Windows 7 64 Bit) using Python and Intel Fortran.

I found no error when compiling the code and I also succeed to run some of the examples given in the tutorials (ex: flotteurs).

However, when trying to run my case the simulation is not starting in the v6p2. This same files run without problems in v6p1.

When I launch the simulation throught Fudaa Python starts running but dissapears after a few seconds. If a launch the simulations from the command line telemac2d initialises but the simulation doesn't start and I can not find any error message in the output file (attached).

Has anyone experienced the same problem before?

It's quite strange because when working with v6p1 telemac shows the same text in my command window but the simulation starts running without problems.

I hope anyone can help me.

Thank you very much in advance.

Carlos

Sorry,
I forgot to say that when running telemac from the command line the error message that I get says:

|runCAS: fail to run

and a parth refers to my working directory and creates a file: out_telemac2dv6p2.exe

:S

Thanks

Hi,

Could you rerun the case with the keyword DEBUGGER = 1 in the case file. This should give you more information on where the code is crashing.

Be careful that on the v6p2 a few subroutine were changed so if you are using a fortran file check the functions.

Cheers,
Yoann
