Hi,

I am trying to set a rating as downstream boundary condition in V6P2. I used a former rating curve file I created on V6P1 as a model which now runs normally on V6P1 but not on V6P2 (I have just tested). I get an error message stating that there is an error in my stage discharge curves file.

I tried to find out where does the error could come from, but without success. Can it be a problem due to the change of version?

My rating curve file and my steering file are attached.

Hello,

I do not know. The next version will accept tabs in the first lines giving Q(1) Z(1) etc. but not version 6.2. Remove tabs if there are some. Also add a carriage return at the end, it may be the most probable problem (though it should work some compilers don't when a final carriage return is missing). Also check for and remove Windows carriage returns on Linux or vice versa.

Thanks for your reply. Even though I am not quite sure of how do insert a "carriage return", I tried to add a final blank line after my last data line with 1/ simple return key 2/ ctrl + return key 3/ shift + return key.
And it still does not work. Forgot to say that I don't have any tabs, only spaces between every single key.

For information I am on windows and I use gfortran.

It's a bit sad because I cannot switch to 6.1 due to the fact that I have tubes in my model. Is there any way to fix this problem, or should I wait for the next version? Did other users have the same problem?

Hello,

Obviously the compiler returns an error which is only an end of file, but if I overcome this, mixing ERR= and End= statements in READ commands, then other errors may be overlooked, so I do not know what to do.
