open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi,

I research different informations about the capacity of Telemac system.I would like to know if telemac2d can be used in operational mode in giving it current or elevation data séries and boundary conditions permanently and in continuous.

Can we make a current forecast with telemac2d? or an other module?

Sorry for the late reply.

Of course we can. Since you have the whole of the source code you can do whatever you like actually. Also, because TELEMAC runs quicker than real time, you can a short term or long term forecast every hour if you wish, while updating your inputs

However, if you mean to include data assimilation, then we are (I would say) only 1 or 2 years away from producing a released version.
