Hi,

When I run telemac2d, the simulation doesn't start (attachment file).

What is the reason ?

Thanks a lot.

Hello,

Is there really 610 islands in your domain ? I do not know if someone has already tested such a number, though in telemac-2D MAXFRO is dimensioned at 3000, which seems enough here. The error seems to occur in subroutine FRONT2 (library bief), because it should write the list of boundaries and we do not see it.

Indeed, there are 610 islands in my domain... and I did not know there was a limited number...

Do you think this is the problem (solid boundaries)? unless it comes from my liquid boundaries?

Hello,

No, I got it, you are in version 6.1 where MAXFRO is set to 300 only, it has been set to 3000 in version 6.2. So either you move to version 6.2 or you recompile your version 6.1 after changing MAXFRO to e.g. 1000 in declarations_telemac2d.f

However you may still have the problem in parallel because MAXFRO is also given a dimension in the partitioner partel.f (library parallel).

With best regards,
