Non-submerged vegetation

Hi all,
in my wetland simulation, i use NON-SUBMERGED VEGETATION. I build some friction areas, but one doesn't have non-submerged vegetations. If i don't insert diameter and space in its row, telemac doesn't work. How do i solve?
With best regards.

Hi,
It would be better if you've told us which kind of error message Telemac gives you when it stops.
Anyway, this is a very naive and easy solution that should work. You can add diameter and space for this area. Then, you can edit (put it in your fortran file first) the routine friction_zones. The block between lines 134 and 144 deals with non submerged vegetation. You can identify the zone number that interest you and impose the friction coefficient CP (which is actually computed in the routine FRICTION_LINDNER) that you want.
With my best regards

Great news: The next TELEMAC User Conference will be organised by Bangor University on the 15th and 16th of October 2025, at the School of Ocean Sciences in Menai Bridge, on the Isle of Anglesey, Wale [ ... ]
