Hello

I would like to represent bottom velocities in my simulation.
How can i do ? Which variable i have to use ? friction velocity ?

Best regards,

Julien

Hello,

The meaning of "bottom velocity" is not clear for me in 2D, if you mean friction velocity it is US in the VARIABLES FOR GRAPHIC PRINTOUTS.

Hello,

Effectively, it would be better to represent bottom velocities with Telemac3D.
I have an other question : how is calculate friction velocity (US) ?

Thanks a lot

Hello,

The friction velocity is built in subroutine preres_telemac2d.f (library telemac2d), under the header "COMPUTES FRICTION SPEED", basically it is:

SQRT(CF*(U**2+V**2)/2)

where CF is the non dimensional friction coefficient.
