Hi,

I made a tidal simulation but when i want to validate my model, i have a time gap with my in-situ dataS. This gap is equal 3h approximately.
I read the manual to simulate a tide with NEA Atlas but i don't see where is the parametrization of the tidal phase?

In my steering file, where can i initialize this phase?

Thanks in advance

Hi Florian,

This option has not been implemented in the standard TELEMAC. But you can do it by yourself in BORD_TIDE_LEGOS subroutine.

Have fun!

Hi Florian,

I wonder one thing about your model. Do you use local time or UTC with the 'ORIGINAL HOUR OF TIME' keyword?

TELEMAC implementation requires UTC. That may explain your shift.
Anyway, your data should be compared to TELEMAC results with the same time zone.

Hi Chi-tuan,

Thanks for your answer.
I corrected my shift. I used the local time and now i use the UTC time.

I have 10 harmonics constituants (M4, M2, S2, N2, K2, 2N2, k1, O1, Q1, P1) and i want to make their analysis.
I use the keyword FOURIER ANALYSIS PERIODS where i put the periods of each harmonic constituant
Can i make the Fourier analysis of my ten constituants in the same run?
In the results, i obtained the amplitude and the phase of each tidal wave. However, my results are strange:

For the M2 wave, i have these results for the amplitude:

Furthermore, i use the keyword:

TIME RANGE FOR FOURIER ANALYSIS : 0;1800000 where 0 is the beginning of my simulation and 1800000 is the end --> IT IS OK?

Thanks in advance
