No, when I have compiled Telemac without the parallel mode, it doesn't give me this error.

One question: I have installed Python and to compile the parallel mode I have instaled Microsoft Visual Studio 2010.

I don't know if I have to change this line in the telemac2d.bat in the file bin. This line with python I have added when I have installed telemac without the parallel model.

The bin folder is for perl. Since you are using python, you only use the pytel folder, although you don't need to change anything there.
