I'm using TELEMAC2D for my simulations and in one of my cases I get a message during the computation.
I'm working with the french version so the message is:
"Probleme mal posé, vitesse libre entrante
par exemple au point de bord numéro 762"

The computation continues...

Error message in english"Ill-posed problem, incoming free speed
for example at edge point number 762" -Google traduction-

Hello,

It is just what Google says, and if it does not crash it is OK. When you have a free exit (velocities free and elevation prescribed) incoming velocities may become infinite and you cannot complain because they are free to evolve. This can happen when a von Karman eddy gets out of the domain. When your problem is not well posed you may have an infinite number of solutions and they all obey the Saint-Venant equations, this is why we give a message.
