open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

hello everyone,

I am trying to understand the time step in telemac 2d. I have different sections where i can write different values. However, i do not know what unit is in each section and how it works: Would anyone mind explaing to me?thanks in advanced.

Hello,

The time step is in seconds, but the GRAPHIC PRINTOUT PERIOD is an integer (so 50. is wrong), so you will get an output every :

TIME STEP * GRAPHIC PRINTOUT PERIOD seconds

Thanks for all JMH. I only have a last question it is about the LISTING PRINTOUT PERIOD. What does it use for?

It is for what you see on the screen (that can be asked also in a listing), you do not see the informations for all the time steps, but only according to the period (again an integer, so listing printed every period * time step)
