Hi,
I am running a simulation in which one boundary has tidal constituents imposed from TPXO model, the other boundary is a discharge boundary.
when I try to run the simulation I get the following error

DEBIMP : PROBLEM ON BOUNDARY NUMBER      2
          GIVE A VELOCITY PROFILE
          IN THE BOUNDARY CONDITIONS FILE
          OR CHECK THE WATER DEPTHS

 PLANTE: PROGRAM STOPPED AFTER AN ERROR
 EXITING PVM: CALLING P_EXIT

I have given the following option in the steering file

PRESCRIBED FLOWRATES = 0.4629;0.4629
OPTION FOR LIQUID BOUNDARIES = 1;1

Is there anything more to specify in the steering file.

gourish	Hi Christophe, I changed the initial condition to CONSTANT DEPTH and set INITIAL DEPTH to 1, now the simulation is working, also there was an error in the mesh where at the discharge boundary the value of BOTTOM was 5.6 m. Now the simulation is working fine. Thanks and Best Regards, Gourish
