And should I cite the IAHR 2011 conference paper from Hervouet et al.: "Dealing with dry zones in free surface flows: a new class of advection schemes" Thanks in advance, Clemens

Hello,

This is a good question, we miss a name. Provisionnally we can call scheme 14: N-TF scheme (Distributive scheme N adapted for tidal flats). The AIRH 2011 conference is the paper to quote so far. It is also described in the Telemac release notes available on this website. The advantage is that this kind of new scheme has no CFL condition. They may however do iterations, in the next version these iterations will be limited by a keyword because it works even if you limit them to 4 or 5.
