open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello guys
I´m working on Dam break project with TELEMAC2D and I want to calculate wave arrival time of water to each node and time of maximum water depth for each nodes ,I used TMXZ and TMXV variables in graphic printout but in result file unknown variable was printed ,I attached pic of result ,could you help me to solve this problems

If I remember well MAXZ is for the maximum elevation, TMXZ the corresponding time, MAXV is for the maximum velocity, and TMXV the corresponding time, so this is not the arrival time, which would be the time when a dry point becomes wet ?

You can look at the beginning of subroutine preres_telemac2d.f to see how it is implemented, the arrival time would be a new feature to implement here.

Thank you very much for your answer ,I have an other question,also when I put TMXZ and TMXV variables in graphic printout I didn´t see any valid result in graphical result file the value was printed for each node is 1.#INF
for fix this problem I should check subroutine preres_telemac2d.f ?

Hello,

It is not very normal to get infinite numbers for those times. Is it only the first record or all ? If it is only the first time step it could be a lack of initialisation in the initial conditions, otherwise I would have to test it when I return at work next Friday.

actually I need to record time for maximum water depth for all nodes,of mesh (it´s around 108433 )and then print out all of these result.
