open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I'm using TELEMAC2d (v6p2) and DELFT3D 4.01.00.ohmw.rc.02
I manage to run delwaq example (RIVIERE AVEC DEUX PILES DE PONT), but with my test case I'm having a problem:

1. I run TELEMAC2d and use res.hyd for DELWAQ as you see in fig1



2.when I try to save the .scn an error appears (see fig2):'error reading file: res-horsurf.dwq' . This file was created when running TELEMAC, so I don't now what may be the problem...

Hello,

Can you tell me if your integers written in big endian or little endian in the result files?

More than 2 years ago, TELEMAC results files for DELWAQ have to be written in little endian as input for DELWAQ, but since Summer 2011, it should work even with big endian.
If your result files are written in big endian, perhaps you should write to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to ask them if the GUI can be run with TELEMAC result files written in big endian?

Nevertheless, be sure that your TELEMAC result files for DELWAQ are located in the good directory (same as the .hyd file).

Otherwise, can you just tell me how you got DELWAQ (download the source files then compile them, or download a pre-compiled executable)?

Hi Chi-Tuan,

I'm using Blue Kenue and my files are selafin files (big endian) the Supervisor Fudaa PrePro.

All the inputs are in the same folder...

I compiled from the source with VS 2010 and intel fortran composer xe 2013, but Telemac was compiled with Intel Fortran xe 2011



Maybe if you take a look at the files...

Can you try to run DELWAQ GUI with the enclosed set of files? It is the 031_delwaq test-case for TELEMAC-2D with DELWAQ files.





You can see in the image that I have suceeded in generating a scenario (.scn) file.
Have you succeeded in generating this as well?

If not, the problem may come from your version of DELWAQ (or its installation) and I will not be able to help you except the suggestion in my last post.
I did not use a 4.01 version but one older (a tuned 3.32.06).
