When Telemac2D is coupled with Tomawac, COUPLING PERIOD = CP then Tomawac will be called every CP timesteps in Telemac2D. So the minimum value of CP has to be : DT_tomawac/DT_telemac2D.

For example, let's say DT_telemac2D = 10s and DT_tomawac = 300s. Then CP = 30 is the minimum value. I wonder, if I put a multiple of 30, will Tomawac still work correctly ?

If I give 90 as COUPLING PERIOD, then Tomawac will be called every 900s. What about DT_tomawac then ? Tomawac won't run every 300s in this case, even if the keyword TIME STEP in tomawac .cas file is set to 300. right ? Can it lead to any problem regarding the time read in Tomawac (AT) ?

Besides, do you plan to allow Tomawac to run in substeps of the coupling period ?
Let's say Telemac2D timestep = 30., Tomawac timestep = 300., and the coupling period is set to 30.
Something like that :
TELEMAC - 1st timestep <-> TOMAWAC - 1st timestep
TELEMAC - 2nd timestep
...
TELEMAC - 10th timestep <-- TOMAWAC - 2nd timestep
...
TELEMAC - 20th timestep <-- TOMAWAC - 3rd timestep
...
TELEMAC - 30th timestep <-> TOMAWAC - 4th timestep
...

Where Tomawac runs 2nd and 3rd timesteps with the currents and water height given at the first timestep, and U,V... are update every 30 steps in Telemac. This way the characteristics would not have to be computed every time Tomawac is called.

I don't know if this is relevant, anyway this is a suggestion.
