Hi Jean Michel
Do you know if anybody is working on this problem of flow calculation in parallel? (Windows, Python)
If it is just a few corrected lines in RUNCODE.PY, can you send them so that we can run long models while calculating section flows?
Thanks
Thierry

Hello Thierry,

As far as I know, my colleague Yoann found that it was "just" that sections files were never implemented in Python scripts, and he should be currently doing it. A provisional workaround would thus be using Perl for runs.

Have a nice week-end,

Jean-Michel

Hello,

I'm not 100% sure, but a small test with the perl script suggests that it is more than just a simple line in python. Since there is some partel magic going on with the cross section file (see c.coulet).

So if you know how to call partel to split the cross section file it will be just a small change in the python code. (Maybe it is enough to add a call for all files of the type 'SECTION' in processLIT? in runcode.py so two lines of python ;) )

Regards,

Leo

Hi,

The problem between control sections and python doesn't exists anymore with the v7p0.

Regards.
