Hello

In the new version of TELEMAC V6P3, work ARTELIA the coupling between two disjoint meshes with laws overflows (RIG case for the Gironde estuary) are integrated?

Hello

Do you mean a new validation case on breaches or maybe the 1D-2D coupling ?
We need more informations about the "developments" you are asking for.

With my best regards

Hello,

We try to develop business models in the context of flood forecasting. On some rivers, 1D modelisation enough. in other cases, you need the 2D model. On an entire section, we need 1D-2D and 1D/2D coupling.

The question is twofold.
1 - Is there a test version for the 1D/2D coupling?
2 - Artelia developed within the framework of a study, a module that allows the level of a dam, not to represent, but to make laws overflows. This module is it available in the latest version of TELEMAC? (see attached figure)

Hello

The 1D-2D coupling is already achieved for EDF needs and applications. There is an model built with version V6P0 of Telemac-2D and Mascaret 7.0 on OpenPALM coupling platform (CERFACS, www.cerfacs.fr/globc/PALM_WEB/)
We are finilizing a new model built within the SALOME coupling platform (www.salome-platform.org/).
These two models are not opensource but they can be distributed through bilateral convention.
The Artelia developments are not included yet in the released Telemac version.

With my best regards

Hello
I would like to just correct Riadh last remarks about dike module in telemac2D
There is in the last version a new dike management module (similar to the one used in the gironde estuary study).

But this new developement has not be described in the new functionnalities (time is missing for that). In fact, the description should integrate the description of the new dike file format build to be compatible with parallel computation.
Nevertheless, the test case weir should now have 2 case to test this new version.

I hope to find time to add the description of this new module in the beginning of 2014.

Hello,

Thank you for this information.
It is to have a simple example to start testing?

For the test case weir, you could try with the following steering file
