open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

My river bed drops about 2 feet creating a waterfall. Can Telemac model this easily or will the waterfall create some instability in the model?
If it cannot be modeled easily, should I model it as a weir instead?

I just completed some simulations on a reach of river that has a 2 m high weir structure. The weir was represented in the model with geometry only (local refined mesh and adjustment of bed elevations). From what I can tell, the results look OK.

I have not carried out the simulation using the weir feature. It is on my to do list.
