Hi everybody,

I am trying to run Telemac2D on my computer (steady simulation) but I always get the same error message: "processECR: did not create outfile: steady: nittelva_results.slf"

I do not understand this message because I define the name of the results.slf file in Fudaa. Should I do something more? It does not look like that a result file has been created.

I attached the error file I got. In addition I enclosed the simulation files.
Can somebody help me? I have been trying for a week now.. Thank you in advance!

Hello,

Well you can first check that the test cases provided work, at least one (preferably the one called pildepon because it has no Fortran file, which is your case). Then I am not sure of what would be in your results file as you specify no time step and no number of time steps, is this normal ?

Bonjour Jean-Michel,

I thought that if I am running a steady simulation that I should just specify the constant water level and discharge at my boundaries, but I will add timestep and the number of timesteps desired and try again.

I tried to run pildepon as you recommended. But I got the same error (see file). Can it come from that I do not have enough access on my computer?

Hello,

No, most probably the default executable has not been compiled for some reason, so it is an installation problem. Maybe Python specialists can help but you can go in directory builds, open the folder corresponding to your installation, and look inside the directory bin, you should find here all the default executables, such as telemac2dv6p3.exe, it is probably copied in the temporary folder when you run a case, so you can check this also.
