Please refer to Section 4.2.3 of Telemac-2D user manual, where it is all explained. Once you understand how it works, you need only a text editor to amend it.

Thank Jean-Michel for this answer but I checked on the opentelemac website and in the Telemac folder and I didn't find the Telemac user manual. Can you please tell me where it is ?

They are at the bottom of the home page --> 2 - Use --> manuals.

I agree with you that it would be logical to find them in the download area, because they can be downloaded... Maybe it would be just a link to add there (colleagues, what do you think?).
