Hi everybody,
I just tried to start my first Telemac2D computation. With the example files for the bridge (t2d_bridge.cas etc.) teh simulation starts. But when I try it with the*. cas file i created there occur errors.
When I try to start the simulation in parallel mode (with 7 processors) it says:
Running TEST.cas with telemac2d under C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\scripts\pytho
n27
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
... reading module dictionary
... running in English with TEST.cas
_____________ runcode::main:
C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\scripts\python27:
|runCAS: inconsistent CAS file: C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\scripts\python27
\TEST.cas +> you may be using an inappropriate configuration: wing64mpi +>
or may be wishing for parallel mode while using scalar configuration
Afterwards I changed the value for "PARALLEL PROCESSORS" to zero (=0) and then it says:
I don't know what's wrong with my configuration or *.cas file. I attach the systel.cfg file i used and the *.cas file.
Hope somebody can help me.
if you wish to run in scalar more you have to use the other configuration installed (the other icon).
I do not really understand what is wrong with your attempt to run in PARALLEL. make sure you have indeed 7 processors (you could use --ncsize 7 option in your command line for instance.
Hope this helps,
Sébastien
