this is my study area.
I want to give friction data according to the different areas.
For example, I will give a larger friction data in the upstream,
and give a smaller friction data in the sea area.
Sorry I don't know how to give the complex friction data????

There are several solutions :

1) use a preprocessor (Blue Kenue or Fudaa) to have the friction in the geometry file.

2) program it yourself in subroutine strche.f

3) use the zoning facility: see example of test case donau.
