How to find the specific problem points/elements in the mesh? 10 years 4 months ago #13538

Dear All:

I want to ask a question about how to find the specific problem points in the mesh. When I run the model, it mentioned that my mesh has this or that kind of problems for example:

"THE INPUT FILE ASSUMED TO BE 2D SELAFIN
TIMESTEP: 0.00000000 S = 0.00000000 H
THERE ARE 1 TIME-DEPENDENT RECORDINGS
ELEBD: ERROR AT POINT: 4
THE BOUNDARY POINT: 42535
DOES NOT BELONG TO ELEMENT : 0
POSSIBLE REASONS:
THE BOUNDARY CONDITION FILE IS NOT
RELEVANT TO THE GEOMETRY FILE
OR THE MESH HAS A WRONG TOPOLOGY

PLANTE: PROGRAM STOPPED AFTER AN ERROR"

As we could find the error point number here, I want to ask, is it any easy way instead of regenerating the mesh to solve this problem? Like by using BlueKenue, is it possible for me to find that point and modify it?

Thanks a lot.
Best wishes,
Qiang MA
