Hallo!

I changed the boundary conditions of my model (I introduced 4 tributaries so overall I have 6 boundary conditions) and when I start the computation I got the following error:

+> aprun -n1 /gfs1/work/beimatta/telemac/v6p3r0/builds/craympi/bin/partel < PARTEL.PAR >> partel_T2DGEO.log
... The following command failed for the reason above
aprun -n1 /gfs1/work/beimatta/telemac/v6p3r0/builds/craympi/bin/partel < PARTEL.PAR >> partel_T2DGEO.log

Does anybody know what it means?

Best regards

Hi,

It means there was an error during the partitioning step.
In the temporary folder you should fond a partel_T2DGEO.log.
Open it, it should contain the error message.

If you do not understand it post it here.

Hope it helps.

Hi again, sorry for the delay in the answer, but I had other work to finish.

Anyway, I look at the partel_T2DGEO.log and it says:

ERROR AT BOUNDARY POINT 118
LIQUID POINT BETWEEN TWO SOLID POINTS

This is because I simulated the tributaries, opening the solid boundaries just in 1 point between two solid points (total width ca. 200 m). Maybe should I open at least 2 points? Do anybody have suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Hello,

Yes, a segment between a liquid point and a solid point is solid, so you have no liquid segment for your tributary. I would advise at least 3 liquid points so that you have 2 segments.

Hi again,

unfortunately I still have problems to run the simulation of the tributaries in my computational domain.
I have 4 tributaries along the domain and I opened 4-5 nodes for each location of the tributaries (inflows). So, overall, I have 6 open boundaries: the inflow, the 4 tributaries and the outflow: so I set six boundary conditions. Also, I changed the liquid boundary file, adding the tributaries also.
I attach the cas file and the text file of the liquid boundary condition.

Could anybody help me please?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards
