open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hallo,

I am using windows7 and telemac version v6p3. Unfortunately did the automatic intstaller produce some errors, which is why i switched to manual installation.

all the components are there(gfortran,phyton2.7,mpi) and I also think I have set the systel.cfg file correctly(see attachment), but still when I am trying to run a simple case i got the below mentioned error.

Do you have an idea what might cause the problem? Any hint is very appreciated?

however in your config systel file you specify the g95 Fortran compiler.
Did you compile the Telemac system with this compiler?
Otherwise you should specify the gfortran compiler.

Enclosed a config file with gfortran, scalar and parallel, which works nice under Win7. You have to modify all the paths to your configuration.

Thank you for your fast reply and for the *.cfg file,... I added it and changed the paths according to my system.
Unfortunately I still get an error when I try to run an example file from a tutorial.

Do you maybe know what could cause it?

I didn't never try the automatic installer.
So some hints for testing:

1. Did you compile Telemac successfully? In the Telemac directory there must be a directory "builds" and in the subdirectories "bin" the exectubales files like telemac2d.exe

2. Try to do a scalar simulation by specifying the scalar configuration and I would try also another example case from Telemac-2D, e.g. the Malpasset case

3. Try to recompile the whole Telemac system from command prompt:
C:\...\v6p3r2\scripts\python27\compileTELEMAC.py

4. Is Gfortran installed and the path set in the environment variables? Try in a command prompt to execute "gfortran" from any directory

5. In the cfg file there are paths to the metis library and mpich library. Do the files exist?

Only some hints but difficult to say where the problem is, I am not that specialist in the installation procedure.
Maybe other people can give you better tips.
