Problem using fortran file 10 years 2 months ago #14143

Hello,

I want to represent a weir with a formula different from loiden.fr formula used by default in Telemac 2D v6p2.

In this purpose, I firstly tried to use a “fortran file”. I copied loiden.fr, modified it in my .cas folder and used it as the “fortran file” keyword. The calculation aborted.

Then I used the original subroutine (same code but different file in .cas folder) in order to be sure my modification in formula were not the reason of the error. I get a message i put as a joined file (I am sorry I dont know where to find the file with the error text).

I have made some researches in the forum and I have seen a lot of posts about it, but I have not succeeded to solve my problem. I have also read installation documentation, but I still struggle because I am not familiar with it. I guess it is about Telemac, Intel or Visual studio installation.
At the origin I had different errors, but I have completed the variable PATH and now I have the joined file error.

I have read somewhere that only few subroutines can be changed with the “fortran file” keyword. Maybe loiden.f can t. Because of this I tried to compile Telemac with python and get another error. It is the second joined file. I guess Telemac should not be able to use a fortran file if i cant compile it, even if the error messages are different.

Have you any suggestions to help me solving my problem?

I work on Windows XP 32 bits.

Thanks a lot,

Regards,

Florent

Hi
loiden.f could be modify by users. The problem doesn't come from this file.
Error message are not really explicit but I imagine this is a configuration problem.
Look into your systel config file.
Maybe in a first trial, you could use the sequential version of telemac instead of the parallel one.

Hope this helps
