I am having a problem implementing boundary condition timeseries of elevations and currents. I am using a modified version of bord.f (please find attached) to read the boundary conditions and if I don't use the Thompson method then the elevations at the boundary in the results file are the same as my input values however the current values are greatly reduced and I don't understand why.
I don't know what lines 327 to 334 (labelled quadratic velocities) are doing, are they responsible for changing the currents from the values given in the NBI1 file?
If anyone could give me a suggestion of why it doesn't work, I would be most grateful.
Well I don't see any obvious error, provided that velocities are also declared as prescribed values (so 5 6 6 in the boundary conditions file).
The last lines are for the case where the velocity is quadratic (keyword DISCRETIZATIONS starting with 13), so probably it does nothing in your case.
