Hello

The run ends correctly but it looks like you don't have enough rights to write in the working forder. Try to change the rights (uncheck read only, on windows or use command chmod 777 on linux).

I hope that this helps
with my best regards

Hello dear Riadh,

Thank you so much, it works.
Now I have another problem, my model doesn't take into account effect of bed. if you take a look at the posted picture you can understand what I mean.
Any idea?

Thanks

Hello

If I've well understood your figure, you've placed free surface on the top of bed bathymetry. However, I'm not sure that you have the same scale since elevation is lower than bathymetry in the left part of the domain.
I'm not sure that I can help with the few number of elements I have, however, you can verify if the bathymetry is taken into account just by looking at the result file. If it varies there, that means it is considered and its effects are necessarily seen in the hydrodynamic of your problem.
The effects of bed are also due to friction, verify that you are considering the bed friction.

With my best regards

Dear Riadh,

In my case, I have an embankment with a height of 0.30m. In the steering file I set the prescribed and initial data as follow:

/
/ EQUATIONS, BOUNDARY CONDITIONS
/

PRESCRIBED FLOWRATES =0.0;0.05

PRESCRIBED ELEVATIONS =0.1;0.0

/
/ EQUATIONS, INITIAL CONDITIONS
/

INITIAL ELEVATION =0.35

INITIAL CONDITIONS ='CONSTANT ELEVATION'

/

The problem is that, the hydrodynamic calculations didnt take into account effect of bathymerty. for example, in the upstream section, I have an initial value of 0.35m water elevation and the height of embankment is 0.30m, so the water surface should higher than the embankment, however, in the picture shows that lower.

Hello Amanj

I think that it is an illusion effect caused by Blue Kenue. Actually you are viewing your results using 3D views, and I think that they do not use the same scale. To be sure, you can view separately elevation and bathymetry on a 1D view and you will read correctly the heights. you can export both results into a file and draw them using the same scale on Excel (for instance)

I hope that this helps

Dear Riadh,

Your are right. I changed both scales in BK into 1. Now i can see correctly.

It helped a lot.

Kind regards.
