open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I am doing tidal modelling using telemac2d. I have to force the tidal elevation data at the open boundary using tidal model driver. Can u tell which are the files that i will have to create for this purpose and the procedure. Can anyone also send a sample steering file for tidal modelling.
I have the geometry(.slf) and the boundary cond (.cli) file.

Everything is well explained in the user manual at section 4.2.12 and in the recommandation part in the end of the manual.
Moreover, there is a validation case called "tide" which gives a typical implementation of the tide at open boundaries.
Do not forget to look at old posts dedicated to tide problems, you can retrieve them simply by a quick search with keyword "tide".

While running a tidal simulation on my Win 7 system I am getting an error message as attached along with. I am extracting the tidal forcing data for open boundary(544) from TPXO files h_tpxo6.2. I think the error is due to some of the subroutines which have to be modified for tidal modelling. Can u tell which of the subroutines need to be modified. The .cas file is also attached.

In the case where your problem is still persisting ... Sorry for this late reply.
Difficult to see what's wrong with your model, the error message is not explicit. Try to put the key-word DEBUGGER=1 in order to see where exactly the code stops; otherwise send us your model and we will focus on it.
