open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

i am modelling a Tpxo tidal on France coast (the tide example in telemac 2d) but i am still having some issues with results as shown as follow:
1- it does work with zone number 23 and 48 while france coast is between 30----32!!!
2- COEFFICIENT TO CALIBRATE SEA LEVEL and COEFFICIENT TO CALIBRATE TIDAL RANGE can affect the result significantly as i test them with value 5.5 and 3 respectively but still velocity not quit good!!!
3- should JMJ result of (which already in telemac 2d (tide)) and result by TPXO are the same value or there should be a small differents?

Sorry for this late reply.
we can not see the kind of problems you have, since there is no snapshot of your results, however, I have some quick remarks on your model. Please consider them and tell us if they improve your results:
- You can use the key-word COEFFICIENT TO CALIBRATE TIDAL VELOCITIES to calibrate the velocity (this is your main issue I think ?)
- It is normal to find differences between two databases
- calibrating coefficients looks huge (? I'm not expert, but values given in the manual are about 1.05 more or less), It is natural (I think !) that using big values will change results perceptibly.
- look at the influence of time step, is it too big ?

I let tide experts add/modify more recommendations.
