open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello, I set up a simple project TELEMAC. I imposed the following time parameters:
NUMBERS OF TIME STEP 15300
TIME STEP 1
GRAPHIC PRINTOUT PERIOD 100
LISTING PRINTOUT PERIOD 100

When I go to make the simulation up to 9200 seconds, the calculation is correct. From 9200s onwards simulation says EXCEEDING MAXIMUM ITERATIONS.
That is, the software performs more than 40 interactions each time step.

How can I fix this?
How do I get the last simulation 15300s correctly?

Check if you really have no tidal flats, and try the following in your steering file :

TREATMENT OF THE LINEAR SYSTEM : 2
SOLVER : 1
FREE SURFACE GRADIENT COMPATIBILITY : 0.9
SOLVER ACCURACY : 1.E-6

It will go much faster anyway.

The speed-up is mainly due to the fact that with the primitive shallow water equations : TREATMENT OF THE LINEAR SYSTEM : 1, the linear system to be solved couples velocity and depth, whereas with the pseudo-wave equation (TREATMENT OF THE LINEAR SYSTEM : 2) it is split and we solve first an equation where only the depth is the unknown.
