open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi everyone,

I am interested in using Telemac-Sisyphe under new roughness model to simulate soil erosion in a river catchment. The catchment has variable landuse, soil types and rainfall patterns.

is it possible to simulate soil erosion of this scale with Telemac-Sisyphe models, and how will I take care of the varying parameters?
Please advise me.

Hello

In theory, all "tools" that you need to simulate your problem are present in Telemac and in Sisyphe. However, pratically, as far as I know, there is no known application of such type.
We will start some projected investigation about this kind of problems and we will be happy to have your feedbacks.

Thanks Riadh. Count on my feedback's. Currently we are trying to simulate yield results from erosion plots using the models.
