Hey everybody,

I still try running an initialization simulation that should provide a steady state. I think there is a mass balance problem because during the simulation Telemac is telling me: "relative error in volume". After simulating, the result data are exorbitant high.
It also tells: "ill-posed problem, free depth on boundary with entering velocity and supercritical flow for example at boundary point number 1289". I checked again my boundaries and steering file but I have no idea what the problem could be.
You find an extract of the console and the steering file attached.

Thanks in advance! With best regards,
Kathi

Hello,

If you have a free depth on an entering point with supercritical flow your problem is not well posed and may find any solution, and you should check this first. Then to have a correct evaluation of mass error make sure that you activate the option :

CONTINUITY CORRECTION : YES

With best regards,

JMH
