Hello everyone,

Recently, I am confused with "FRICTION PARAMETER DEFINITION". According to the manual, there are 8 options for us to choose, but I do not quite understand the difference between "Nikuradse law", "Log law of the wall" and "Colebrooke-White law". Anybody could give me a favor. I just want to figure out the difference, and how they work with and influence the model.

Hello,

You can look at subroutine friction_calc.f in library telemac2d. The last two you mention are meant for lateral boundaries, while others are meant for bottom friction.
