Hello Mohamed

Yes you can consider rainfall with Telemac. See parapgraph 6.3.3 of the new user manual for implementations details.
for the runoff, yes you can handle it with both kernels of Telemac-2d (Finite Elemeent and Finite volumes), however, be carefull with FE for cases with steep gradients.

I hope that this helps

Hello Riadh,

Hoping you are doing well. I just want to know how the value of the rain will be used by the Telemac. In Rainfall-Runoff models, the rainfall is transformed to surface flow and groundwater recharge, so part of the rain will be directed to the nearby rivers or streams according to the topography. So, is this done in Telemac? is the rainfall precipetates on the flood plain or in a hilly area will go to the river.

Thanks alot for your kind help.

Kind regards,
Mohamed
