open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Dear all,

I am working with the coupling of Telemac2D and Tomawac. For the T2D I imposed a tidal BC by using the TPXO database. I tested it by running T2d alone and it works properly. However, when running the coupled model, it stops displaying the following error message:

Any hint about what is causing this error?

Hello

This is because when coupling codes (Telemac-2d with Tomawac for instance) the unit numbers are changed.
When using TPXO tide, subroutine Condi_tpxo.f uses Binary file 1 (T2DBB1) which is changed to T2D_FILES(T2DBI1)%LU.
You need to make these changes and copy modified routines in your fortran file.
I don't know if there is easier solution

Actually this is true only if you play yourself with logical units in your Fortran file. If it is not the case we would need the whole case to investigate the matter.

I got this error ( please see attachment) with TPXO data. Actually, I have downloaded TPXO tidal data, including h_tpxo7.2.nc and u_tpxo7.2.nc files. My question is:

Can TELEMAC automatically read this extension- (*.nc) ?

Furthermore, I have also read thread no #7000, Chi-Tuan mentioned that:

"The Fortran file is the same as for JMJ but without the tidal_model_t2d subroutine (the standard one is used)'

My one more question is:

1. Where is the standard file? is it located in the example directory? could you please specify?
