In the telemac manual it is mentioned that the wind coefficient that should be used in the steering file is the 'avent'/1000. However, in the validation case of the wind the value was not divided by 1000. There, the wind velocity is 5, and the calculated wind coefficient is 1.2615 x 10E-6 (I do not know how this was calculated, in the manual 'avent' for this velocity should be 0.565 E-3, shoud we divide this by 1000, the coefficient will be 0.565 E-6), however in the steering file of the case, the wind coefficient is 1.2615 x 10E-3.

Can you explain me how do you do it.

You are right, this example is misleading because to show a clear effect we have put an arbitrary high value. Otherwise you have perfectly understood what says the manual.
