open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello,

I run a Telemac 2D simulation with 5 sources and 20 cm of initial water in most of my modele. The simulation stopped after only 6 hours of simulation over 7 days with this message :
"@streamline::scaract:: the number of traceback interface crossings igen > 99
plante : arret du programme apres erreur
sortie de PVM : appel de P_EXIT"
The error message is also in attachment. Does anyone know what this mean ?

Hello

This means that the characteristic has crossed more than 99 edges in your mesh which is too much.
This could be caused by a large time step or because of very bad mesh quality.
verify your mesh options and reduce your time step to see if it will fix the problem. Otherwise, please send me your cas in its actual configuration and I'll check it up
