Hello,

I am sure I am missing something basic here, but I keep running into "read error in the culvert data file unexpected end of file" error.

The file is similar to whats in the manual:

Relaxation Number of siphons
0.2 1
I1 I2 d1 d2 CE1 CE2 CS1 CS2 S12 L12 z1 z2 a1 a2
1 2 0.0 0.0 0.5 0.5 1.0 1.0 30.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0

I also have NUMBER OF CULVERTS =1 in the steering file.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello

what is exactly the error message you get ? can you send your files ?
If not, you can add subroutine lecsip.f (sources/telemac2d) to your fortran user file and you can add some "write" to see exactly where it crashes.

CULVERT DATA FILE
UNEXPECTED END OF FILE


PLANTE: PROGRAM STOPPED AFTER AN ERROR

Hello,

I compared your file with the example "siphon" in Telemac-2D and I find strange that your I1 and I2 are 1 and 2 whereas in the example they are much higher numbers, probably global numbers of points. There could be a mismatch of versions. Otherwise I see no mistake, you can try to add spaces at the end of every line, in case this would be an issue, this is the only difference I see with the example.

Thanks for the replies.

I found out what the problem was. The culvert file is fine. I have generated all the files using Fudaa-Prepro_120 and the steering file was calling the culvert data using FORMATTED DATA FILE 1 instead of CULVERT DATA FILE. Changing that seems to fix the issue.

Hi

Fudaa prepro which could be used to build the file which describes culvert is not compatible with the latest versions of Telemac.
This means you could use it to build the culvert file but you need to manually change some parameters (in the cas file) to follow the rules of the latest version of telemac.
In the previous post, the users just indicate that now the culvert are describe in a dedicated file and not in the formatted file 1 like fudaa-prepro do it...

I'm using version v6p3-3.0 for Windows for Telemac (I don't think it's the latest version) and 1.2.0 for Fudaa.
I read the previous posts but didn't understand what to change: should I attach the culvert file in the "culvert data file" in the cas keywords?
