It is for the diffusion equation, and it is best to have it totally implicit.

Thanks for the quick reply. So it is applicable only for the diffusion terms in x- momentum and y-momentum equations.

However, I would like to know if there is any such other keyword available to take care of diffusion terms in k-E model?

Hello,

No, it is applied to all diffusions (I think...). It has little influence on results and it is more stable with implicit, this is why it is always kept implicit, except that with the wave equation technique for solving Saint-Venant, we need to have diffusion of velocities explicit, which is done whatever you ask for.
