open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I am modeling a sand trap, and I have problems with the Spillway that is located at the end after the tour around the canal. I have modeled closing the gates of the sediments at the end of the sand trap, water is found a wall of 8 meters high and on top of the Spillway.
Could anyone help?

The attached photo is the result of the spillway area (at the outlet of the flow), the flow returns and isn't uniform. Initially assume sand trap channels are filled up to the level of the spillway and from that moment begins to leave the water through the spillway. I can not find a solution or have done something wrong from the design geometry?

The near vertical variation of the bottom to represent the final wall is probably a source of problems...
Remind also that you're in 2D so the values are averaged on the vertical...

Finally have you checked your model reach a steady state?

It is very true that you say.

My modeling has iterations 720000 and modeling is 12 minutes and the water flow isn't stabilized. Do you recommend to make a 3D modeling ?. Have some tips for modeling in 3D ?. When I use "telemac3d.py cas.txt" the program requests the coefficient of friction.
