Does anyone know if there is a tutorial or example case for running a dam breach scenario? Especially I want to run one simulation like the following:

1. start the simulation with a discharge time series with increasing discharge and intact dam

2. then, during this simulation at a certain level of discharge, insert a hole in the dam while continuing the simulation

Hi,

"Breach" is an example that shows how to set breach parametrization.

example - telemac2d - breach

The breach can occure when the free surface reach a given water level or at a defined time (corresponding to the discharge in your case).

the validation cases and other examples are automaticaly downloaded when running the autoinstaller.

Look into the folder where opentelemac is installed.

For example :
C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v7p0\examples...

if you didn't use the autoinstaller, you can download the examples using the svn.
